Role:
In this role you will sit in Darktrace’s close-knit FP&A team that reports into Darktrace’s CFO, Cathy Graham. Your work will shape the FP&A function as it develops to meet the evolving needs of one of the UK’s fastest growing tech companies. Day-to-day you will report into the FP&A Manager and support them in developing the Company financial model, Group budgets, and market guidance.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models for various business units and projects
- Support senior decision making with financial analysis and sensitivity scenarios
- Support the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and Board-level monthly reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as IR, Sales Operations, HR
- Assist in the evaluation of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions
- Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a finance-related role
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Numerate, with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and take the initiative
- Strong financial modelling skills; highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
- Willingness to work flexibly to accommodate reporting deadlines across the year
Desirable but not essential
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA or ACCA) or bachelor’s degree in finance-related subject
- Experience in Workday / Adaptive Planning
- Understanding of SaaS metrics / software industry
