The Major Account Executive will focus on helping large strategic accounts adopt HITRUST as part of their TPRM strategy. The ideal candidate will possess strong strategic leadership skills and will lead and drive sales engagements within these key accounts.

We are recruiting for this role across multiple regions, specifically the South, Midwest, and West.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understand the strategic competitive landscape and customer needs and requirements
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to understand their needs, potential opportunities, or threats to the business
  • Grow the business by driving new sell through opportunities within assigned accounts
  • Provide forecasts, identify pain points, and work with internal team to overcome obstacles for business growth and success
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of products, services, and processes
  • Create, coordinate, and implement business development strategies and tactics
  • Participate in industry events and conferences on topics relevant to HITRUST; develop and deliver impactful presentations to the prospects and customers
  • Build relationships with targeted industry influences, ecosystem partners and leverage the relationship for recommendations, referrals, and leads

Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills:

  • 2-5+ years working in TPRM, vendor risk management, or supplier chain risk space
  • Experience selling to CISO, Director of Security, Risk Management Leaders and other senior level contacts
  • Experience in at least one core domain:

o Cybersecurity Risk

o Privacy

o Compliance / Regulatory (e.g. HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, ISO 27001)

  • Experience working with VRM platforms (e.g. OneTrust, Archer, ProcessUnity, ServiceNow VRM, Prevalent)
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Proven ability to achieve sales quotas in target markets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to drive high-value meetings through challenging discussions
  • Travel frequency: 25-50%
