Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically minded Data Scientist with postgraduate specialization in Mathematics and Statistics or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data manipulation.

They will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse complex data sets, develop AI/ ML models, and deliver actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, process, and analyse large datasets for machine learning and generative AI
• Develop and implement statistical models, machine learning algorithms and generative AI bases solutions to solve business problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
• Communicate findings and insights through reports, visualizations, and presentations.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data science techniques and tools.
• Assist with data quality and governance initiatives to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Must Have:

• Postgraduate specialization in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Good knowledge of generative AI concepts and techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of statistical software packages such as SAS, SPSS, or similar.
• Understanding of data privacy and security principles.
• Practical experience with generative AI tools and frameworks.
• Ability to design, train, and implement generative models.
