Associate Manager - Operations


Job Description

The Operations Manager oversees the comprehensive management of the service delivery team, ensuring effective and efficient operations across various functions such as project management, creative, digital, and content production. This role is critical for aligning strategic objectives, maintaining operational excellence, and ensuring high client satisfaction. Below, we provide a detailed outline of the competencies essential for an operations manager, focusing on the specific operational and strategic needs highlighted in the operations performance framework.

• Should have 10yrs - 14yrs of experience in managing CMS projects and web site development.
• Well versed in project planning, estimations, risk management, stakeholder management and execution.
• Head the offshore delivery team and lead core team of Project Manager, leads and architects.
• Review work plan and work component and closely work on forecasting, staffing, flex staffing, cost optimization etc.
• Expertise in managing service operations, including quality assurance, compliance, financial and resource management, and KPI tracking to ensure the delivery team is ""doing things right.""
• Proficiency in the operational performance framework, focusing on delivery, adoption, and omnichannel performance metrics.
• Oversight of asset production quality, ensuring compliance with established standards and regulatory requirements specific to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Implementation of processes for monitoring and improving the quality and compliance of outputs.
• Acumen in managing budgets, forecasting, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ability to measure and improve resource utilization, including dedicated and flex resourcing, to align with project demands and cost efficiency.
• Strong capabilities in managing relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams, business contacts, and external partners.
• Effective communication skills to report on operations, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives to senior management and clients.
Leadership in HR processes, including staff onboarding, transition effectiveness, and managing staff attrition.
• Commitment to developing a high-performing team, fostering staff satisfaction and engagement, and facilitating professional growth and development.
• Should be able to control cost of delivery of the project and improve profitability.
• Leading projects, communicating with clients and internal teams, and promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Scoping tasks, phases, and projects with input from multiple teams.
• Development and management of project timelines and project plans
• Identification and mitigation of project risks from time to time.
• Validation and presentation of project deliverables.
• Assurance of quality of deliverables and operations of managed resources
• Technical analysis of project milestone deliverables including designs, wireframes, and specifications
• Understands challenges & dependencies associated with a CMS implementation project like Drupal, Sitecore, AEM etc.
• Identifies risks associated with integration requirements for a web development project
• Schedules and prioritizes tasks to ensure timely delivery
• Ensures that challenges and issues faced by technical team is accurately conveyed to all stakeholders
• Help in Analysis and build of data schemas for complex integrations and technical specifications of complex deliverables
• Establishment of close working relationships with internal team members
• Keep the communication warm and complete all the time all the internal and external stakeholders/ customers
• Track record of executing the web development projects in SLA driven committed delivery model
• Well documented and process driven project management practice, which is anytime audit ready
• Should have strong analytical ability, Feasibility analysis
