Must Have

Senior Analyst - Forecasting

Experience:
5+ years of experience in Pharma Forecasting.
Life Sciences background preferred.

Independent contributor and handling stakeholders

Technical skills: Forecasting knowledge, Pharma Domain understanding. Advance Excel, VBA, PowerBI, Tableau & Marker Research.

Required Skills:

Developing and implementing models for inline and pipeline disease drugs for multiple markets which were used for forecasting and demand planning

Building new forecast models from scratch, developing methodologies, running scenario and improve existing forecast models.

Develop assumptions and validate through data sources

Defending the validity of forecasts before clients and internal stakeholders

Well versed with databases like IQVIA MIDAS, Kantar, DRG, Evaluate Pharma

Experienced in forecasting accelerator tools and analogue analysis using IQVIA data

Working with a cross-functional team of client data scientists, sales teams, marketing to deliver high quality forecasting analyses

Domain depth in Oncology and other disease areas

Technical and Soft Skills:

Consultative problem-solving approach, customer orientation, and strong collaboration skills

Exceptional analytical skills with demonstrated experience extracting valuable insights from complex data-sets

Experienced with analysis of secondary data and syndicated databases.

Proficiency with analytical tools such as MS Excel VBA will be good to have

Ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations

Persuasive and credible communication and interpersonal skills

Understanding of the market dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry

Domain Experience

Deep experience in forecasting for clients in the pharmaceutical industry:

Forecasting for in-line/pipeline/launch brands etc.

Patient based and patient flow forecasting

Forecast model development using Excel and VBA

Data sources/data marts expertise (Ex-factory, IQVIA, Kantar, Euromonitor, DR, etc.)

Good understanding of pharma product lifecycle
