Must Have
Global Engagement Lead
Indegene is looking for a front-line client leader in driving business growth as well as managing customer engagement efforts for a key account in the US. You will lead the overall engagement and be the face of Indegene for the client. You will be the primary point of content for the business leaders from the client side (primarily one level below CEO in the Global teams as well as country-level leaders). You will interface across key functions in commercial, medical and clinical teams. You will assist in the development of sales strategy by providing insight into opportunities across geographies, business units and offerings. You will help manage sales cycles for our full suite of offerings and curate Indegene’s services and solutions to executives across the clients’ value chain.
As the Engagement Lead, you will be responsible for growing the current business and ensuring client satisfaction. You will be the bridge between the client and Indegene project teams and ensure that communication is clear and constant. You will assist project managers in monitoring project deliverables and on-schedule billing while managing client expectations on project scope, quality, and timelines.
You will be responsible for:
Stakeholder Relationship Goals
• Build relationship with different stakeholders
• Be a point of contact representing offshore operations for customer stakeholder on projects/initiatives
Revenue Goals
• Achieve revenue targets by expanding client footprint and add-on business
• Identify opportunities in client organization that could benefit from our solutions
• Monitor scope of project and generate additional revenue for revised scope
Client Satisfaction
• Exceed client expectation in quality, timelines, and cost.
• Proactively recommend business solutions that can benefit clients, and facilitate information flow between the company and the client.
Account Governance
• Monitor Account-level KPIs and metrics
• Lead quarterly governance meetings
• Work with India team on the delivery and ensure timely updates to the client
• Manage Account Managers (working with Markets) reviewing the incoming demand and provide leadership cover
• Govern projects beyond Content Factory on special SOWs, ensure timely delivery
The Global Engagement Lead is a key role as the face of Indegene for clients and potential clients reporting to the Delivery Partner driving business growth and revenue targets. For this role, we are looking for someone with:
• 15+ years of demonstrated Account/Delivery Management capability at established Agency/ Consulting firms
• Strong ability to build and manage customer relationships, as well as navigate complex buying and decision-making environments
• Proven ability to sell both individually and in collaboration with a larger sales organization
• Strong core “consultative selling” skills including problem solving, data analysis, process design, and relationship management
• Proven record of growing businesses with clients
• Ability to negotiate with clients and build successful partnerships
• Ability to oversee multiple projects and multiple requirements
• Excellent communication—verbal and written—skills
Good to have
Demonstrates proficiency in managing large team.
· Shares experiences for constructive outcomes. Enables team members to discuss their aspirations, goals and shortcomings and develops plans to address these
·Provides honest, timely, constructive and specific feedback on performance, even if it is a hard feedback, leading to true development
Post graduate from premium B schools will be preferred
Min 12+yrs of exp in operation management & 5+yrs of exp in client facing role
Superior communication skills Should have managed large teams
Proficient in financial concepts.
Life science or digital experience is mandatory. Any exp in the MLR space will be an added advantage
Ability to deal with multiple stake holders and manage client’s expectations
Ability to take initiatives with excellent interpersonal skills
Good negotiation skills
Passion for networking and updating oneself with the latest market trends and relate it to identifying business opportunities
Structured thinking and articulation
Ability to manage pressure and work with multiple stakeholders

· Understands the problem from multiple dimensions. Solves problems in a timely fashion by generating and assessing options, evaluating implications and implementing solutions thoroughly
· Identifies and executes financial drivers of own function to enhance profitability/productivity/ market share for business growth
· Continuously seeks information from current clients and prospects to understand emerging needs and make meaningful interpretations
