Job Role – Backend Developer -JAVA

Job Summary:
A Software Engineer—Java needs to work on technical innovation and should have both theoretical and hands-on technical knowledge of various business problems or projects assigned. He or she also needs to provide high-level support in the design and development of Web applications. His or her role also involves providing technical guidance or support to the development or troubleshooting of systems and evaluating current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as portability, compatibility, or usability.

Job Description:
Technical Skills
1.Web based Application development and Implementation in a Java-J2EE (JSP 2.x,Servlets …) environment.
2. Frameworks like Spring 3.x & above.
3. Front end technologies like HTML 4 & 5, CSS, XHTML, Ajax, XML, Javascript (DOM manipulation). jQuery, AngularJS (preferable) or any SPA technology (knockout, amber etc)
4.Architect & Design applications using Java Design Patterns.
5. Database design and implementation (Oracle 10g & above)Development:
6. Should have in-depth experience in Oracle 10g & above with good experience in DDL &DML. PL/SQL (preferable).

Testing:
9. Prepare & Execute Unit Test cases (manual).
10. Automated Unit testing (Preferable).General:
11. Identify, analyze, and resolve application and system problems.
12. Interface with all levels of end-users and management.
13. Mentor & Assist other team members as may be required.
14. Contribute to Process improvement within the team, specifically Build & Release management.
15. Strong involvement in all phases of SDLC.

Soft skills
1. Excellent communication (verbal & spoken) and documentation skills.
2. Good analytical and debugging skills.
3. A Self-starter & willing to initiative of new technology adaptation.
4. Should be comfortable working within a team based development methodology.

Qualification
· UG - B.Tech/B.E/B.Sc - Any Specialization, Computers is an added advantage.
· PG – ME/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc/Diploma.
Experience: 3-6 Years
