The Position
We are a cutting-edge cyber security company, and we are looking for an exceptional legal counsel to join our Legal team as a Corporate Legal Counsel.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of OPSWAT growing Legal department, work with multiple interfaces across the company, world-wide, and have a direct impact on OPSWAT business.
What You Will Be Doing
- Maintain and manage OPSWAT entities worldwide.
- Collaborate with, advise, and support cross-functional internal and external teams on a wide variety of legal mattersrelating to the company’s day-to-day operations, including compliance and corporate governancein multiple jurisdictions.
- Assist with the legal department operations, including matter management and contract management and identify and implement new solutions and optimize existing solutions to streamline legal team operations and improve legal processes and workflows with a focus on efficiency and scale.
- Continuously improve standard agreement templates, playbooks, policies and procedures.
- Work with legal colleagues on multidisciplinary legal matters.
- Play an active role in enhancingthe company’s Corporate Responsibility Program.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors to support and maintainglobal employment compliance.
- Draft and negotiate a variety of corporate and commercial agreements.
- Handling ad-hoc assignments and projects.
What We Need From You
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- JD degree from an accredited law school.
- 2-4 years of corporate/commercial experience at a law firm, in-house, or a combination of both.
- Self-starter who works well independently and as a team player, welcoming responsibility and engaging effectively with others.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a resourceful, hands-on, and proactive approach.
- Strong technological proficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with cross-functional teams.
- Service-oriented, internal client-focused team player with positive can-do attitude.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to see the big picture while paying attention to details.
- Growth mindset, flexibility and eagerness to work hard in fast-paced multinational and multicultural environment .
