The Position

OPSWAT is in search of a hands-on Technical Team Lead / Software Engineering Manager.

This position will lead a talent, ambitious and enthusiasticgroup of software engineers working on OPSWAT centralized platform for IT and OT products. With a strong software engineering background and the right personality, you are going to lead and set an example for the software development team.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Being both highly technical and an effective people manager.
  • Being a subject matter expert in a product domain.
  • Proactively communicate issues and resolve escalations with customer-facing teams like support and sales.
  • Execute and deliver engineering goals by collaborating with cross-functional teams, architects, and product managers.
  • Drive technology roadmap, manage initiatives, and adhere development life cycle using Scrum/Agile methodology.
  • Being part of the overall architecture and key components design for the current and future framework.
  • Motivate the product team to go above and beyond with continuous delivery and innovation.

What We Need from You

  • 5+ years of software engineering work experience, including hands-on technical management building holistic web-based software solution, REST API design, and interactions between servers and clients.
  • 5+ years of coding experience in Java programming language.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams.
  • Proven record of full product design and implement a product from end-to-end.
  • Proven experience with implementing software engineering industry best practices and SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, CI/CD, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience with agile development, rapid release cycles, and supporting customer-oriented solutions.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex issues to a wide range of audiences including partners/customers, sales, customer experience, internal technical teams.

It Would be Nice if You Had

  • Bachelor or Master’s degrees in Software Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Sciences.
  • Experience with full-stack development and microservice structures.
  • Experience in working on platform or centralized product.
  • Intermediate English Level.
