The Position

OPSWAT is looking for a seasoned Solution Engineer to help build our business in Saudi Arabia. Your primary role is to expand the footprint of OPSWAT’s customer base by driving new business development activities and recruiting and managing a value-added channel ecosystem. The Solution Engineer will facilitate the resolution of partner/customer issues, manage the engagements between the partners and/or customers and internal groups such as Product Management and Engineering, ensure that prospective customers and partners understand how OPSWAT solutions can meet their security requirements, and help improve the customer experience both pre-and post-sale.

The ideal candidate will be able to develop new business in a previously touched market and conduct technical presentations for complex cybersecurity solutions. You will have sales support from the sales and sales engineering team based in Saudi Arabia.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Presenting OPSWAT Solutions to technical and non-technical customers, ranging from technical teams to CXO level.
  • Working closely with the sales team to secure deals and grow OPSWAT’s regional business.
  • Using a hunter’s mentality, build a business plan to identify new customers and opportunities.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics to sell OPSWAT products, solutions, and services to exceed your sales quotas.
  • Communicate value propositions to partners and customers that address needs and requirements.
  • Facilitate collaboration and communication of ideas between the Product Management Team, Sales execs, and the customers.
  • Attending and speaking at marketing and networking events with the regional team.
  • Maintain extensive account and technical evaluation opportunity details in Salesforce CRM, including support cases, customer feedback, feature requests, etc.

What We Need From You

  • 5+ years of sales engineering experience or experience in a technical sales role with at least 1 year of security and/or enterprise software sales (extra points for experience selling cyber security solutions for larger companies).
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic.
  • Ability to sell complex technical solutions to enterprise customers and consistently meet revenue objectives.
  • Proven experience in IT/Cyber/Cloud technical sales – Cybersecurity experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience in IT/Cyber/Cloud technical implementation – Cybersecurity experience is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills - must be able to work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
  • Self-motivated with a winning attitude, highly competitive, ramps quickly, incredibly adaptive, and has a high sense of ownership.
  • Great communication skills and a team-player mentality.
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering/software engineering/computer networks engineering is preferred, or equivalent work experience is required.
