The Position

We are looking for a seasoned hands-on Technical Team Lead who will lead a team that focuses on extending and maintaining a unique, exciting secure network access solution. You will have a strong software programming background with the right personality to lead and set an example for the software development team. The Technical Team Lead works across software and hardware, you will oversee the development of solutions to be used on-premises and in Cloud.

What You Will be Doing

  • Execution and delivery of engineering goals by collaborating with cross-functional teams, architects, and product managers.
  • Collaborate with other Team Leads within the Product Line Unit
  • Drive technology roadmap, manage initiatives, and development life cycle using Scrum/Agile methodology.
  • Being part of the overall architecture and key components design for the current and future framework.
  • Proactively communicate issues and resolve escalations with customer-facing teams like support and sales.
  • Keep up to date with modern development technologies and methodologies.
  • Motivate the product team to go above and beyond with continuous delivery and innovation.
  • Participate in architectural design, collaborate with QA and Application Security Specialist

What We Need from You

  • Experience developing within the AWS environment, including such technologies as Container Services, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
  • Good organization and coordination skills
  • Proven record of full product design and implement a new product from end-to-end.
  • Proven experience with implementing software engineering industry best practices and SDLC, including coding standards, code reviews, SCM, CI, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience in collaboration with engineer teams in multiple countries
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to present complex issues to a wide range of audiences including executives, partners/vendors, internal teams, and external audiences.
  • Experience with agile development, rapid release cycles, and supporting customer-oriented solutions.
  • Experience with full-stack development and microservice structures
  • Experience with TypeScript / Angular
  • Network engineering experiences
  • Experience with Git, BitBucket, Jira, Confluence, TeamCity.

It Would be Nice if You Had

  • Software Design experience
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience with task management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • Experience with metrics and reporting tools
  • Reasonable understanding of OWASP Top 10, common vulnerabilities and exploitations.
  • Pre-intermediate / intermediate English Level.
