The Position
At OPSWAT, we build user-centric products to safeguard global critical infrastructure from cyber threats. We're at the forefront of Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) solutions and are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join our Product UX Team.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will contribute to the entire product development lifecycle, from discovery and ideation to final implementation, ensuring a seamless and accessible user experience across all OPSWAT products. This role requires a strong user-centered mindset, deep usability expertise, and outstanding design skills that balance business goals with user needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing, to champion usability, accessibility (ADA/WCAG compliance), and a frictionless user experience.
This role will report to a regional UX Leader, and will work closely with product, engineering, QA, copywriting, and other corporate functions to execute projects from concept to completion. In this fast-paced environment, you must be capable of juggling multiple projects, maintaining various schedules, and working with a global team spread across the USA, Europe, and Asia. Your ultimate goal is to produce best-in-class, award-level product experiences that drives engagement and customer loyalty.
What You Will be Doing
- Execute end-to-end product design—research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI.
- Design intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible experiences aligned with business goals.
- Leverage data, user research, and feedback to refine and enhance usability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure design aligns with technical and business needs.
- Ensure consistency by contributing to OPSWAT’s design system.
- Uphold usability and accessibility standards (ADA, WCAG compliance).
- Communicate design rationale clearly, securing stakeholder buy-in.
- Foster design excellence by sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced, agile environment
What We Need from You
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product Design, User Experience, or a related field.
- 6+ years in Product Design, UX/UI, or related field with a strong portfolio showcasing usability and UI excellence.
- Expert in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Deep knowledge of design systems, accessibility (ADA, WCAG), usability, and user research.
- Skilled in high-fidelity UI, interactive prototypes, and user flows.
- Proficient in design thinking, interaction design, and UX best practices.
- Strong communicator and collaborator across global, cross-functional teams.
- Experience in agile development and component-driven UI design (atomic design).
It Would be Nice if You Had
- Understanding of Cybersecurity or SaaS Products
- Experience in DesignOps & Scaling Design Systems
- Front-End Development Knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React)
- Experience with Data Visualization & Dashboard Design
- Usability Testing & Research (heuristic evaluations, user interviews, A/B testing)
- Localization & Globalization Experience (multi-language UX considerations)
