The Position
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Product Manager (TPM) to join our team and drive the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for our MetaDefender Managed File Transfer (MD MFT) solution. As the TPM, you will be responsible for translating customer needs, market trends, and technical requirements into actionable plans that guide the development and enhancement of our product offering. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer support to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and drive business growth.
What You Will be Doing
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends related to managed file transfer solutions.
- Together with the Product Manager and Business Lead, define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for MD MFT based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize features, enhancements, and technical improvements based on strategic alignment, customer impact, and resource constraints.
- Define and prioritize user stories, feature requirements, and technical specifications for our product, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with product goals.
- Work closely with design teams to create intuitive user experiences and user interfaces that optimize usability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the Agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management, to deliver high-quality product increments on time.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and product metrics to track product performance, measure success, and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide technical expertise and support to customers, sales teams, and partners, including product demonstrations, technical documentation, and training sessions.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices in managed file transfer, cybersecurity, and cloud computing, and assess their potential impact on our product.
What We Need from You
- 3-5 years of experience in software development, quality assurance or sales engineering
- 3-5 years of product management experience is required
- Experience in working in an Agile development
- Excellent grasp of enterprise software/hardware requirements
- Strong technical background and understanding of managed file transfer technologies, protocols, and security principles
- Project management experience
- Fluent English
- Knowledge of JIRA and project management software experience is a plus
- Project management certifications such as CSM, PSM, PMP, SAFE are welcomed
- Understanding or certification of Cyber Security and Enterprise Security Compliance is also an advantage
