The Position
At OPSWAT, we’re on a mission to protect the world’s most critical infrastructure. As a U.S.-based cybersecurity leader, we’re expanding our R&D footprint in Hungary — and we’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team working on one of our most strategic solutions: MetaDefender Secure Managed File Transfer (MFT).
MetaDefender Secure MFT empowers enterprises to securely transfer sensitive files across systems, networks, and borders. Trusted by governments and global organizations, we are at the heart of secure data movement — and we’re expanding its future in Veszprém.
As part of our cybersecurity-focused company and team, you will be developing cutting-edge software solutions that protect critical infrastructure from ever-evolving cyber threats. Your work will make a real impact—defending the digital front lines of industries, governments, and essential systems around the world.

What You Will be Doing
- Work in an engineering team to develop and operate the product
- Production deployments
- CI/CD pipeline automation
- Monitoring and alerting
- Incident management and post-incident analysis
- Identify and troubleshoot platform issues
What We Need from You
- CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance (Teamcity, YAML)
- Experience with Virtualization, Containerization (Hyper-V, Docker)
- Experience with Windows servers and Active directory
- Shell scripting languages Python / Bash / Powershell
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a commitment to document findings
- Experience in customer calls and customer support
- Bachelor or Master’s degrees in software engineering, Information Technology, Computer Sciences, or Mathematics
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience in Service migrations from on-premises to Cloud is an advantage
- Experience with Linux systems is nice to have
- Experience in TCP/IP network stack is welcome
- Experience with AWS/Azure hosting environment is a nice-to-have
- Cybersecurity background or understanding in the field is appreciated
