The Position
We are looking for a hands-on and experienced Software Engineering Team Lead to guide a talented group of engineers building our flagship cybersecurity product. As part of a fast-growing company, you’ll play a key role in developing secure, scalable systems that help organizations transfer sensitive data across platforms, networks, and borders.
In this role, you’ll mentor and guide engineers through technical challenges, architecture decisions, and day-to-day development tasks. You’ll bring solid .NET expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a strong grasp of secure software practices to help deliver enterprise-grade solutions with a global impact.
You’ll work closely with senior engineers, architects, and stakeholders in Vietnam and the U.S. to ensure high-quality execution and product success.
What You Will Be Doing:

Lead a small, agile team of software engineers, fostering growth through technical mentorship, peer collaboration, and hands-on development.

Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of robust, secure .NET-based systems and APIs.

Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to refine technical direction, prioritize features, and align development work with product goals.

Drive technical decisions and support architecture discussions around system integration, performance, and security.

Help establish and enforce engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, and secure development workflows.

Support the team in diagnosing complex issues, improving performance, and ensuring reliability.

Promote continuous learning and keep the team current with emerging technologies and secure coding standards.

Work cross-functionally with QA, DevOps, and customer-facing teams to ensure smooth project execution and product delivery.
What We Need From You:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or team lead role.

Hands-on experience with .NET and SQL Server backend development, API design and database optimization

Deep understanding of computer OS, and experience with secure system integrations.

Proven expertise in networking & Security : Latency, OSI Model, Network Protocols, Throughput, Hashing, Encryption/Decryption.

Strong skills in system design, debugging, performance tuning, and agile development methodologies.

A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence through guidance and technical strength, not authority.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Effective verbal and written communication in English, especially in cross-cultural or remote team settings.
It Would Be Nice If You Had:

Experience with frontend frameworks or modern JavaScript/TypeScript stacks.

Familiarity with secure file transfer protocols and encryption standards.

Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) and OWASP Top 10.

Exposure to RESTful API design and development using .NET Core.

Experience using tools like Git, Bitbucket, Jira, TeamCity, and Confluence.

Prior experience working in distributed or global engineering teams.
