The Position

At OPSWAT, we’re on a mission to protect the world’s most critical infrastructure. As a U.S.-based cybersecurity leader, we’re expanding our R&D footprint in Hungary — and we’re looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our team working on one of our most strategic solutions: MetaDefender Secure Managed File Transfer (MFT).

MetaDefender Secure MFT empowers enterprises to securely transfer sensitive files across systems, networks, and borders. Trusted by governments and global organizations, we are at the heart of secure data movement — and we’re expanding its future in Veszprém.

As part of our cybersecurity-focused company, you will be participating in the development of a cutting-edge software solution, that protect critical infrastructure from ever-evolving cyber threats. Your work will make a real impact—defending the digital front lines of industries, governments, and essential systems around the world. If you’re experienced in test automation, interested in cybersecurity, and excited to make real-world impact by protecting critical infrastructure, this is your opportunity.

What You Will be Doing

  • Contribute to the development of integrated automated tests
  • Create automated test reporting and metrics collection
  • Enable the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach
  • Keep testcases up to date and refactor them
  • Collaborating and sharing knowledge with QA Team members and Software Developers to develop solutions

What We Need from You

  • Practical knowledge and at least 2 years experience in designing and developing test automation solutions
  • Quality mindset
  • Solid knowledge in programming languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Excellent problem-solving and mathematical skills
  • Highly accurate and detail-oriented
  • Communication level in English
  • Commitment to learning and openness to new technologies
  • It’s nice to have experience in CI/CD environments
  • ISTQB certificate is appreciated
