The Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team. This unique role offers the opportunity to work across two critical areas of our business: supporting the Defence Sector Sales Team and the Advisory Consulting Partner Alliance Team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen interest in both the defence industry and consulting partnership alliances.
What You Will be Doing
Advisory Consulting Partner Alliance Support:
- Partner Coordination: Support the management of relationships with consulting partners, including scheduling meetings, coordinating joint activities, tracking of shared opportunities and maintaining communication channels.
- Event Support: Assist in organizing partner engagement events, workshops, and training and enablement sessions, handling logistics and participant communication.
- Documentation: Using Salesforce.com, maintain records of partner agreements, performance metrics, and collaborative initiatives, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work with marketing teams to develop and distribute co-branded materials, case studies, and success stories highlighting partnership achievements.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of partnership activities, providing insights to improve collaboration and drive mutual growth.
Defence Sector Sales Support:
- Administrative Assistance: Provide administrative support to the Defence Sector Sales Team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and managing correspondence and quote provision.
- Data Management: Maintain and update salesforce.com, ensuring accurate and timely entry of client information, sales activities, and pipeline status.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential clients within the defence sector to assist in strategy development.
- Proposal/ Quote Support: Assist in the preparation and formatting of sales proposals, presentations, and contracts, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Client Interaction: Respond to client inquiries and provide information about products and services, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
What We Need from You
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM systems is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Interest or experience in the defence sector and/or consulting partnerships is advantageous.
