The Position
This DevOps role owns and evolves the engineering infrastructure behind OPSWAT's SDK and tooling teams — a hybrid on-premise and cloud environment serving internal developers and enterprise customers. The engineer manages containerized internal services, a large virtualization environment, and cloud workloads powering internal data pipelines and enterprise file distribution.
You'll be the infrastructure backbone for the SDK engineering group — close to the code, embedded with developers, and directly impacting the reliability of tools used by enterprise customers worldwide.
What You Will be Doing
Manage physical and virtual build/test infrastructure, including macOS, Linux, and Windows machines used for SDK development, CI/CD, testing, and automation
Operate Docker-based internal services including CI/CD, monitoring, self-hosted AI agents, and automation frameworks
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions workflows, and TeamCity build configurations across Windows, macOS, and Linux build environments
Manage AWS infrastructure supporting internal data pipelines and enterprise file distribution
Configure monitoring, alerting, and dashboards across on-prem and cloud environments
Automate provisioning, deployments, and routine operational tasks to reduce manual toil
Enforce security best practices: access control, secrets management, and infrastructure hygiene
Leverage AI tools to accelerate scripting, troubleshooting, and infrastructure work; evaluate and adopt AI-driven solutions to improve team productivity
Maintain runbooks, architecture documentation, and operational guides
What We Need from You
5+ years in a DevOps or infrastructure role with production responsibility
Virtualization administration (VMware vSphere, Xen, or equivalent)
Hands-on administration or troubleshooting experience across Linux, macOS, and Windows environments
Docker and container service management
CI/CD pipeline experience — Jenkins, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, or equivalent
AWS hands-on experience (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC)
Monitoring and observability — Grafana or equivalent
Scripting and automation — Python or Bash
Uses AI tools effectively to accelerate scripting, troubleshooting, documentation, and automation; has curiosity and practical judgment around adopting AI-assisted workflows
It Would be Nice if You Had
Self-hosted AI/LLM deployment experience (Ollama, vLLM, or similar)
Infrastructure as Code — Terraform or equivalent
Test automation framework integration with CI/CD
Experience building internal AI agents, LLM-powered automation, or self-hosted AI infrastructure
Security practices: secrets management, network segmentation, compliance frameworks
Cybersecurity domain knowledge
Good English communication is a plus
