The Customer Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting a broad range of customer marketing and customer advocacy initiatives, with a focus on those that will support driving retention, loyalty, and cross-sell opportunities.
Reporting to the Director of Customer Marketing, this person will work closely with Customer Success, Growth Marketing, and Sales to assist in improving communications, enhancing customer engagement, and supporting the execution of our advocacy programs.

Role Specific Job Duties:
- Assist in implementing large-scale, multi-touch customer marketing programs to support SheerID’s retention and cross-sell goals.
- Collaborate with the marketing and customer success teams to develop and execute programmatic and segmented email campaigns to support each customer’s unique journey.
- Analyze campaign performance and customer segments to provide insights and refine our communications to better serve our customers.
- Coordinate with various internal stakeholders to create segmented customer newsletters, in-product maintenance alert messages, and product release notifications.
- Contribute to SheerID’s Customer Advocacy Program by helping achieve KPIs for new customer testimonials, success stories, and word-of-mouth referrals.
- Provide support to the Sales team by managing reference-able customer resources.
- Monitor and respond to online customer reviews.
- Partner with Social/PR team to strategize ways to engage and elevate customers across SheerID’s social media channels.
- Plan and execute customer events including webinars, bootcamps, dinners, experiential events, and CAB meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Experience:
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience required.
- Strong project management skills and a knack for problem-solving and logical thinking.
- Experience with tools like Asana, Marketo, Salesforce, and Canva is a plus but not required.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.
- Comfortable making data-driven decisions.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, eager to explore new ideas, seek solutions, and embrace a ‘fail fast, learn faster’ mindset.
